User Booking Journey
How Policies Affect You
Your company has set up travel policies that:
- Define budget limits for flights and hotels
- Specify allowed cabin classes and hotel ratings
- Determine what happens when you book outside these limits
When you search and book travel, the system automatically checks your selections against your policy.
Policy Status in Search Results
When browsing flight or hotel search results:
- No badge - The option is within your policy, you can book directly
- Amber badge - The option is out of policy and may require approval
- Red badge - The option is blocked by your policy
Click any badge to see the specific violations and the matched policy rule.
