How Policies Affect You
Your company has set up travel policies that:
- Define budget limits for flights and hotels
- Specify allowed cabin classes and hotel ratings
- Determine what happens when you book outside these limits
When you search and book travel, the system automatically checks your selections against your policy.

| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ✅ Within Policy | Booking is compliant, proceed normally |
| ⚠️ Out of Policy | Booking has violations, may need approval |
| 🚫 Blocked | Booking is not allowed by policy |
Common Violations
| Type | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Price exceeded | Flight/hotel costs more than allowed | Choose a cheaper option or request approval |
| Cabin class | Selected class not allowed | Choose Economy/Premium or request approval |
| Star rating | Hotel rating not allowed | Choose a lower-rated hotel or request approval |
| Advance booking | Booking too close to travel date | Book earlier next time |
